Where our vegan hiking boots have Waterproof in their title, they are fully waterproof, designed to keep your feet dry in a variety of challenging conditions. Each pair undergoes rigorous lab testing in our testing centre in Italy to ensure they meet high waterproof standards. Here’s what goes into our vegan hiking boots waterproof construction to make them reliably waterproof:
Breathable Waterproof Membrane: Our hiking boots feature a special breathable waterproof membrane by Spotex™ that prevents water from penetrating while allowing moisture to escape, ensuring your feet stay dry and comfortable.
Waterproof Seams: The seams are carefully sealed to prevent any water ingress, reinforcing the waterproof integrity of the boots.
Sealed Tongue with Side Gussets: The tongue is sealed with side gussets to further protect against water entering from the top of the boot.
Treated Waterproof Uppers: The vegan leather and fabric used in the uppers are treated to resist water and enhance their durability, keeping the boots effective in wet conditions. Please note our uppers contain trace amounts of PFC/PFA’s however we are introducing a new material that is PFC/PFA free late 2024 that will be used in all our vegan hiking boots.
Waterproof Construction: The overall construction of the boots is designed to ensure no water penetration, even in extreme conditions.
Our vegan hiking boots are tested to be waterproof, which means you can confidently wear them in deep snow, deep slush, deep puddles, running water, and during extended periods of heavy rain.
