Dock Boots
Dock Boots
Our notes
These have been one of our most popular boots since they launched in 2015.
Choose from the finest quality vegan suede we know of (the uppers have a soft grain that moves as you rub your hand over them) or Italian vegan leather made with 69% biobased content.
You can get stuff done in these boots - they’re good for both offroad treks and running about town.
They have decent ankle support with padding around the collar and lace hooks that let you do them up tight (with new extra-strong laces made from recycled polyester).
The outsoles will last years and with their deep tread gives traction from mud to pavements.
Made in Portugal. Certified carbon neutral. Like all our collections, when they are at their end of use you can use our return to recycle service to turn them into new WVS uppers and outsoles.

Well, two days ago, I finished a nearly 6 mile (9.5km) hike in these at Ricketts Glenn (North Eastern Pennsylvania, USA). This included going down 965’ (294m) in elevation and back up again. The boots performed well. I did add a set of inserts to them about a month ago. I noticed if I walked more than 2-3 miles without the insoles, the boots would become a bit uncomfortable (I’m overweight and in my forties … this may have something to do with the need for additional cushioning).
I’ve worn them while hiking, walking, biking trails, changing oil in my car, etc …. They seem to be holding up well so far (2 months).
Overall I have no complaints.
This is a great company with an incredibly generous and easy return policy and procedure.
I usually wear an 8½ shoe, US, and a size 9 hiking boot. When I got my boots they were marked 41, as my order said — 9/41, men's size — (and oddly, as I found this page on the website it says a 9 is a 42). When i tried the attractive and excellently crafted boots on, they were incredibly narrow, despite my having an incredibly narrow foot. When I looked at shoe size conversion charts online, many of them said that a nine should be a 43. So because I saw that these boots run very narrow, when I returned the boots I asked for a 44, just to be safe and not have to send them back again. I see that I would have better asked for a 43, but I know that if I find the right thick insole they should be okay, though I'll have an incredible amount of room beyond my toes.
I’ve looked for an alternative timb for years. I found it. Good quality. Comfortable. Looks great. Runs big like timbs did but allowed for an insole with no issue. I’ll be buying more colors for the winter when they’re back in stock.
I have received a bunch of compliments about these shoes, and no one believes that they aren't real leather even after I tell them they're vegan. Very comfortable, easier to break in than non-vegan shoes. I did have a to buy a size lower than both my normal shoe size and what the guide recommended, so may be worth doing the same.
Will's Vegan Store is also incredible to order from and the exchange process to get the correctly fitting shoe was insanely easy and fast. I would absolutely order something from them again.
I bought these boots for work at a farm which is completely vegan. These were comfortable to wear and they held through rain and a little snow. But they gave out by month 6. I bought some “ work boots” hopefully they’ll last longer. If you won’t beat these like I did you’ll like them! Comfy, stylish, and overall good boot!
