So I adore these boots. Like...really. I work in a very formal office, and wear them most days. I bought the black leather in women's 6.5 and then wanted the dark brown and black suede, so bought them in men's 6.5. They're a little bigger, but work just fine with a thicker sock. I find them incredibly comfortable, hard wearing, and excellent with a suit. They never rub (I mean never) and I usually walk at least 45 minutes a day in them. Recommend, totally.

These desert boots are exceptional.

I ordered my usual Wills size but they came slightly looser than I had hoped so I exchanged them and the new size was delivered only two or three days after I had dropped the originals off at my local Post Office.

In doing so with this lower size they now look and feel sharper although with the comfortable soles and padded angles they retain the comfort which is a pillar of their design.

I opted for the neutral grey and was so pleased with the outcome. They are smart enough if needed for an occasion yet casual enough to go for a spontaneous casual walk in or to visit somebody, and everything in between.

They feel made to last and of a high quality and have the aesthetics to match.

As usual with Wills the ethics of their products are a massive incentive and without knowing you never would know how environmentally-friendly these boots are.

I can't recommend them enough and would encourage anybody who is looking for a good pair of boots that you won't get bored of wearing to give them a try, honestly.

I ordered a size down having learned from a previous purchase and they fit great. They look awesome too so I'm very happy.

Very comfortable fit and extremely stylish!

I'm very happy with my purchase but I do have some suggestions for future designs.

I got the taupe suede Signature Deserts to replace the WVS Chukkas that were sadly discontinued. They go really well with pants in multiple shades of blue and green, and I got lots of compliments on them at multiple weddings with a gray suit.

The eyelets only being reinforced from the back makes them look more formal, but it also means the laces catch against the suede material itself instead of gliding along a metal eyelet.

I appreciate the minimalist look of only having two eyelets for the laces, but it does make them much more annoying to tie and untie, makes them feel less secure, and puts clear strain on the laces.

They're not the most comfortable but I didn't have problems wearing them for a full day with moderate walking. They seem pretty durable, they're not bad for dancing, and they're easy to spot clean. I think they are excellent value for the price and might get a second pair in a different color.
