Onze aantekeningen

We houden van het silhouet van deze Chelsea-laarzen met Goodyear Welt-constructie. De inzetstukken zijn zo gesneden dat ze de vloeiende lijnen van de hiel en het voorblad volgen, die taps toelopen naar een stijlvol punt. U kunt uw gebruikelijke maat bestellen; je tenen zitten voor de punt, zodat ze bewegingsruimte hebben.

Dit zijn geen paar laarzen alleen voor mode.

Ze zijn gebouwd om jaren mee te gaan en zullen door blijven gaan met de vervangbare Goodyear Welt massief rubberen buitenzolen met diep profiel.

Het maken van een paar Goodyear Welted-laarzen kan tot acht weken duren, waarbij tot wel 75 laarsonderdelen en meer dan 200 verschillende bewerkingen nodig zijn.

De oorsprong van deze methode gaat ruim driehonderd jaar terug.

Deze methode wordt in de wereldwijde laarzenindustrie algemeen beschouwd als de beste manier om superieure laarzen te maken.

Als u deze laarzen draagt, worden hun pasvorm en comfort alleen maar beter, omdat de onderdelen zich naar de vorm van uw voet vormen.

Goodyear Welted-schoenen kunnen worden vernieuwd door de nieuwe zool aan de rand te naaien, waardoor de levensduur van het schoeisel wordt verlengd.

  • Gesneden met Italiaans 69% biogebaseerd veganistisch leer. Je kunt het bovenwerk polijsten om het er als nieuw uit te laten zien en het te laten glanzen.
  • De opening van de laars omhelst comfortabel de enkel dankzij de manier waarop het bovenwerk is gesneden en de elastische inzetstukken die een strakke lijn zonder opening produceren.
  • Stevige rubberen Goodyear Welt-buitenzool met diep profiel en gerecycled materiaal. Gemakkelijk te vervangen door goede schoenmakers. Hakhoogte 3 cm.
  • Groot, met WVS geborduurd, gerecycled polyester treklipje om ze makkelijker aan te trekken.
  • Volledig gevoerd met bruin veganistisch suède voor comfort, luchtcirculatie en ademend vermogen.

    Took a while to break in but love them 😍

    Good boot but different from the picture

    This is my second pair of Welt boots, I own a black and a suede. I love both pairs. Very well made, no obvious signs of wear. I wear them in the Hong Kong summer and Alaskan winters and they are super in both extremes.
    My only gripe is they are a different design than advertised. Only slightly, but for an expensive shoe, you expect to get what is shown on the website.

    Rugged but classy

    Fit the bill for me. Was searching for a vegan chelsea boot that looked good, but that I didn’t feel like I had to take off to walk the dog.

    Nice looking but at a cost

    I ordered a pair at 10/45 which is what I size at 100% of the time with no issue. The shoes were way too big around the ankle. They were too loose and it felt like the heel would come off. I then ordered a pair at 9.5/44 which I kept. They stay on around the ankle much more comfortably but now my toes are completely smothered and it's painful to walk all day in. I don't know what massive size ankles people have, but these shoes are not hard to put on; if anything they're hard to keep on. It's a shame as they look nice. Also the writing on the insole comes off after wearing it for the first time, but that's nbd really.

    Sturdy & comfortable.

    Ordered this fairly recently, and I've been wearing them rather regularly. The boots (in particular the soles) feel sturdy, but not clunky, and the insole is quite comfortable (whether in thick or thin socks). Another review did say that getting them on may require a bit of effort, but this helps, in that you know the boots won't slip easily. I've generally been satisfied with Will's footwear in the past, and this is another handy part of my business and casual wardrobe. I would certainly buy this again.

    Another point for any of my in-between sizes foot compatriots: my foot size is a UK 9.5, and the UK 9.5/EU 44 fits true to size.
